It's been awhile...

I haven't been on here in awhile!! A lot has happened since the last time I have been on here.

Logan turned 1 on September 25th!! He is growing so fast!! He had an MRI done, the first try was with a sedative which didn't work and the second try they had to put him out. The results came back and they found a kind of cyst on his skull. I am working on getting a second opinion just to be sure. I will be sure to post updates when I get them.

Kaleb isn't doing soccer anymore, he just isn't ready. He was wanting to play around instead of actually trying to learn and play soccer, so it was just a distraction to the other kids on the team. He really wants to play baseball so I am thinking he may just not be into soccer.

Stacy got engaged to Brian, they are planning their wedding as I type this lol. They have set the date for January 22nd here in Lubbock. I helped her find her dress and it is absolutely amazing, it was very emotional but I held myself together pretty good!! Stacy and the boys are doing really good and all are really happy.

Josh's birthday was the other day and I made a big meal for him and had all of his family over. We had a great day and Josh enjoyed himself. He is ready to go find himself some boots now!!

I am ready for this semester of school to be over!! I will only have 3 more left!! I am half way done and cannot wait!!

Kaleb starts SOCCER!!!

We finally got a call tonight!! Kaleb's coaches name is Casey. I am so excited for him to start playing!! What makes it even better is not even 5 minutes after the coach called Amanda called me and Caleb is on Kaleb's team!! So the Caleb and Kaleb are on the SAME team!!!!! This is gonna be hilarious!!

UPDATE...MRI

Well...Logan went in early Wednesday for his MRI. They gave him the sedation meds and an hour later it still hadn't knocked him out!! They ruled it a failed sedation and now we have to wait for them to schedule an IV Sedation MRI. I will keep you guys posted and let you know ASAP when they reschedule it. Hopefully the IV sedation knocks him out!! How does a 20 lbs. little boy not go down with such strong meds?!?!?!

Logan has an MRI

Logan is going to have an MRI done on September 8th. The skull around the soft spot on one side of his head is shifting and they don't want it to fuse together the way it is now, which the front part is trying to overlap the back part. He had x-rays done a couple of months ago and those came back showing everything is normal. They just don't know why his skull is shifting and why it is trying to overlap. I will keep everyone posted! It is just a stressful situation because he will have to be sedated and at his age it just makes me really nervous. Please pray that everything goes well!!

First Week of School

The boys had a great first week of school! We went and got Logan 2 hours early cause he kept fussing but it was just because he was tired and the surroundings were a little strange to him. But his 2nd day went great!! Kaleb has learned so much in his preschool class and it was only the first week!! I am excited when he is excited to go to school!! My first week back to the books went OK, I got a 100 on my first quiz in English. I also had to pay an arm and a leg for my books. I have to write my first essay pretty soon for my English class and it has to over someone who has had a major impact on my life...so I am doing my essay over D!! It is going to be a hard essay to write but I feel this essay will be one of the easier ones because I enjoy talking about D and all of his accomplishments and what a great man he was!! I will let you guys know at a later date how that essay ends up!!

My babies...

Well...Kaleb and Logan start school tomorrow!! Kaleb is excited and I don't think Logan knows whats going on!! I will be sure to take pics before we head off to school. They are both going to look so cute!! After I take them to school I have to go pick up the rest of my books for my classes. I am so ready to start this year. I will have 4 or 5 semesters left after this fall!! I cannot wait!! Wish me luck and will post pics later!!

Haven't been here in awhile...

Well...I am back!! I haven't gotten on here in awhile. There have been many things happen. Josh is back from West Virginia and has been home for about 2 or 3 weeks now. He still has no job as of right now but it is looking, a company is suppose to call him next Monday or Tuesday...hopefully to tell him when to start!!! The boys start school on Monday, Logan is in Mrs. Lori's class...she was Kaleb's teacher when he started Calvary!! And Kaleb has Mrs. Rawls, I met her for the first time last night at meet the teacher night and she seems pretty nice. Kaleb is going to be learning about colors, numbers, ABC's, and much much more...and will even learn how to write his name!! I also start school again on Monday!! I am ready and excited!! I am taking 13 hours this semester and this will be my last semester to do classes online...that means I will actually have to get up and get dressed to go to classes in the Spring!! Kaleb has soccer evaluations tomorrow and he is so excited!! It looks like we will have a busy fall ahead of us and I cannot wait!! I need something to keep me busy and make me stop being so lazy!! Things are hard with Josh not having a job right now but I am trying to just enjoy each day and not worry so much about bills like I used to. Things will hopefully fall into place pretty soon and things will once again be "normal" again...maybe....
